Redeemer supports local, national, and international missions throughout the year, with 18% of our church offerings going directly into these ministries. The church also serves these ministries through hands-on service days, supply collection, mission trips, and more as needed by the ministry. Annie Armstrong Easter Offering
The North American Mission Board's Annie Armstrong Easter Offering supports more than 2,200 missionaries across North America. Our prayers and gifts help the men and women who are planting new churches in unreached communities and ministering to those hardest to reach of the estimated 275 million who are lost. Learn more about the AAEO here. Redeemer will give a percent of our annual giving to the offering, and if you desire to give additional gifts, you can do so through the giving dropdown option online or in the church app, or indicating Annie Armstrong Easter Offering on your giving envelope Sunday mornings.

Ukrainian Relief Fund
Redeemer has given one month's operational expense of $6,000 to fund a refugee camp through our friends at Uttermost Evangelism (UE). 100% of funds raised go directly to support Ukrainian refugees at these camps. What a blessing! Please be in prayer for the following:
- Currently, 146 Ukrainian refugees are being housed in camps and homes in neighboring areas through UE and partners, with this number growing.
Summer campgrounds can be opened to shelter and feed more refugees as they continue to flee from the western part of Ukraine, at the cost of $6,000 per month.
UE is also working with Ukrainian pastors to learn the most effective way Redeemer can partner with one of their churches to offer continuing support there.
Redeemer will continue to give a portion of our offerings to this fund. You can also give over and above these offerings by designating extra funds to Ukrainian Relief Fund through the giving dropdown option online or in the church app, or indicating this fund on your giving envelope Sunday mornings.

Christmas in July Challenge! (Operation Christmas Child)
Did you know that the National Shoebox Collection Week is just 20 weeks away? Since July is a big month for back-to-school sales, it is a great time to start purchasing items for your shoebox. Also, by beginning to plan now for packing boxes, it will allow you to take advantage of sales and spread the cost over several months.
In some cases, your shoebox may be the first gift a child has ever received! Please be mindful in selecting quality items. Samaritan’s Purse also recommends that a WOW item to be included in each box. See link below for suggested items by gender and age. (If you don’t have an age in mind, consider packing for a child aged 10–14. This age range is often overlooked.)
So, will you take the Christmas in July Challenge and begin planning/shopping for your shoebox now? RDMR will beginning handing out shoeboxes in mid-October, so hold on to your items until then! Please contact Janet with any questions.

Crossroads Ministry Service Opportunities
Nash Correctional // Saturday, March 11, 2023(all-day event including 1 hr drive each way, leave Apex 6:00am, home around 6:00 pm)
Crossroads Ministry will be volunteering at this March 11 “One Day with God” camp. This is a day inside prison walls where a parent and their child have the opportunity to reconcile with one another and spend time together with God-anointed mentors working beside them. These children and their parents are treated to a day filled with games, crafts, food, music, entertainers and quiet time with their dad or mom. These are days that place a parent/child relationship above their circumstances.
Training is required to work at this event, with 2 options available:- Online Zoom training: Monday, March 6 at 6:30 pm
- In-person training: Thursday, March 9 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at Nashville Methodist Church in Nashville, NC
You will need to fill out this form for Forgiven Ministry to volunteer for this event. Contact Amber with questions.
